Solution

Woodtone has been shaping the building materials industry for over 40 years – creating products that turn houses into homes and workspaces into warm, welcoming environments. This brand refresh was about bringing that legacy forward with a design system that could carry both their history and their future.

Leaving room for an expanding portfolio, the challenge wasn’t just about refreshing Woodtone, it was about bringing clarity to a growing family of sub-brands. We designed a flexible, future-ready sub-brand identity system that gave each product line room to stand out, while staying rooted in a cohesive brand world.

At the heart of the design system is a modular graphic motif, inspired by the interlocking nature of Woodtone’s siding, paneling, and structural products. It became a signature design language – one that adapts across print materials, marketing, and digital, while reinforcing the brand’s core values of craft, connection, and place.
